IBEA has two different scholarship programs available to IBEA members.

The Dora J. Beattie IBEA Scholarship was established to encourage outstanding college business students to specialize in business education training. The purpose of the award is to provide scholarships to undergraduate students who are actively pursuing business teacher education careers at Illinois schools. This scholarship is intended to provide financial aid for the recipient’s undergraduate study, ideally for an accredited business education program of their choice in Illinois.

The Gloria Bousley Graduate Scholarship was established to provide scholarships to IBEA member graduate students who are actively pursuing business teacher education careers and are specializing in business education at the master’s degree level in an Illinois state-approved teacher education program. The scholarship awards up to $2,500 for outstanding graduate student(s) specializing in business education.
