When registering for or renewing membership on our site, by signing up for fall conference events, or signing up for other IBEA-sponsored events, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: first and last name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, employer, job title, other pertinent information for event registration, or credit card information. However, you may be required to provide certain personal information to us when you elect to use certain products or services available on the Site. We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you start or renew your membership, register for an event, or access your personal information.

Our site employs Google Invisible ReCaptcha and Google NoCaptcha in order to help prevent against spam bots accessing our site and using it to send e-mails to our site users as well as protect our forms from unwanted submissions. 

Our entire website uses the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt all data being transferred between our server and your Internet-connected device. All our membership dues and event registration fees processed online are completed through PayPal. Their site also employs SSL technology to keep your data safe as it travels the Internet. All supplied credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our payment gateway provider's database (PayPal) only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems. All information accessible to IBEA through PayPal will be kept confidential.

After a transaction, your private information (credit card numbers, expiration dates, CVV codes, etc.) will not be stored on IBEA's server. Any transactional information will reside with PayPal.

We strive to take appropriate security measures to protect agains unauthorized access to or alteration of your personal information. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, you acknowledge that: (a) there are security and privacy limitations inherent to the Internet which are beyond our control; and (b) security, integrity, and privacy of any and all information and data exchanged between you and us through this Site cannot be guaranteed.

Right to Deletion

Subject to certain exceptions set out below, on receipt of a verifiable request from you, we will:
