EIBEA Spring 2007 Meeting Info:

• The Spring 2007 meeting of EIBEA was Wednesday, March 21, 2001 at Richard's Farm in Casey, IL
  
• We enjoyed a delicious buffett dinner and then had a short business meeting followed by an enlightening program.
  
  
• EIBEA Spring 2007 Program-- "Curriculum Revitalization Initiative(CRI) Project for Business Education" presented byDiana Mahinda, ofthe Illinois Office of Educational Services.

Everyone in attendance received a folder of materials and a CD with many career and technical lesson plans in various areas.

Bea Abernathy is the 2007 EIBEA Teacher of the Year!—

Bea is a long time EIBEA and IBEA member and has been very active in the business education field throughout her teaching career.  She was nominated by fellow EIBEA member Marcy Satterwhite.  Congratulations Bea!

2007 Student Scholarship Winners—EIBEA gives three $200 scholarships each year to deserving students in our region (one high school, one community college, and one EIU student). This year’s winners are:

• Daniel Drewes from West Richland High School
• Michelle Willenborg from Lake Land College
• No nominations were received from EIU
