About Us:

EIBEA is made up of business teachers from the Eastern region of the State of Illinois. We are an affiliate of the Illinois Business Education Association. Our purpose is to promote business education and to share instructional resources and teaching techniques with other business educators.

Upcoming Spring Meeting:

The Eastern Illinois Business Education Association Spring 2025 Meeting will be Tuesday, March 4 starting at 4:30 pm at the new "Chick-fil-A" franchise location in Mattoon, IL. There will be a presentation/tour of the Chick-fil-A location where attendees will learn about what it takes to actually start a Franchise. Followed by dinner and a brief business meeting.

Award Winner:

Congratulations to our local EIBEA member, Cindy Phipps from Lake Land College, on winning the Outstanding Post-Secondary Educator of the Year Award at the Fall 2024 IBEA Conference.
